two girls & an ocean // seaside

every year i go to the ocean with these three. it has become a winter tradition all our own–something we come back to year after year; a marker of the months gone by. this year the beach was all fog and foam; mysterious and strange. the seagulls got lost in the mist and we chased the ebb and flow of the waves. we hid in the grasses and pushed each other on the swing and collected crab shells, lining them up in the sand. our room had a view of the ocean and we ate cookies in bed and watched pitch perfect, cause everybody loves some harmony…so grateful for these times by the water, and for this magic friendship ❤
