THE LAUNDERETTE // PORTLAND
We met at Lee’s Launderette on Lombard. It was a typical day: the clouds were low in the sky and the miniature superheroes were out in full form. Sawyer was supposed to be Mr. Incredible, but he backed out at the last-minute, due to a large stain on the arm of his red suit. He and spiderman had a plan to rendezvous at the coin machine, and then do some folding of clean laundry. The super rad and crazy talented Kati Dimoff (spidey’s mom) brought the Tide with bleach and a camera loaded with a roll of fuji superia. I brought the fabric softener and Sawyer manned the Diana mini. Sometimes the laundry mat is the only place to be. And chillin’ next to front-loading dryers is even better when it’s with small people in red body suits who will protect you with the spider webs that shoot from their wrists.

I’m not jealous of your little boys. Nope. Not at all. Okay, maybe just a little bit. Or a lot. LOVE them both, though of course Spidey has the keys to my heart, I mean, I’m betrothed to him and all… Big loves to both you girls and all your crazy talent!
